Icon Coilovers, Downsouth UCAs, rear Icon "2.5" shocks and Toytec single AAL. Still gotta do exhaust, dark headlights and re-gear the rear diff.
Not to hijack this thread....nut maybe to add to it - since i have the same plans for my truck:

Ive read in here somewhere that AAL does/could result in either some squeeking and/or suspension sagging from the leaf after it settles.

Is any of this true at all?? after some time??

**Also, if money wasnt an issue, whats the best way to lift the truck 3in? Im talking in regards to QUALITY of parts and LACK of symptoms? I do not want to buy kit "A", only to hate it for any reason and then buy kit "B" later....I want to learn the most and buy/install once! :)

And some other crap

I have the 3" Revtek. As far as AAL making squeeking, I just have the 1.25" block that came with the kit and after a year the stock springs squeek anyway. I blame that on mud pits:) At least the squeek matches the clutch squeek.

Only reason I went with the Revtek was because the Coilovers I wanted were out of stock and I wanted it lifted ASAP so I could throw my 32's on.

IMO anyway you decide to lift a Tacoma sucks or at least has drawbacks. Other than maybe at the most just leveling the truck buy using coilovers at about 1.5-2" max, which ain't much of a lift and even then you're loosing down travel.

As much as I hate to say it if you want at "least" 3" of lift may as well look into going 6" DB with coilovers and traction bars. But they have lots of drawbacks too.

If/when the Revtek breaks something I will upgrade to coilovers.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
The squeaking can happen to stock leafs as well as AAL's. It is simply dirt inbetween the leafs. All suspensions will sag over time, that's a given. The variable is the load(s) over time that determines how soon it will sag combined with the quality of the leaf pack.

The stock leafs will sag sooner then say a Deaver 10 pack under the same load over time.

The best way to lift a truck 3"? IMHO, coilovers (or lift springs) and a new leaf pack.
