hey guys i've seen a few tacos with rhino bedliner on the side of their trucks. It looks sweet! i personally have it in my bed but its beginning to fade? i think it somewhere around 5 to 10 years old so is the new stuff fadeproof? and what are the prices for this mod?

I just had MaxGaurd (a rhino liner type stuff) bedliner put on my lower sides. I live in PA, but I'm sure many places sell this bedliner type stuff. Mine came with lifetime coverage, Any problems, bring it back and he will take care of it. I'm happy with it.

Well let me start out by saying that I had some damage on the Passenger side that I wanted repaired, so I found someone that did both Body work and the Bedliner stuff (His was called MaxGuard). He did all of it for $1600 which was great. Dealer wanted $4055 just to do the repairs, no bedliner. Here are the photos:

Also wanted to mention that I did ask about doing the fender flares, but he said it was not designed to adhere to plastic. Now that I have it this way I kind of like it. Someday I may try some black fender flares, but for now I am happy. Now I want to get a rear bumper like this:

And Sliders Kind of like these:

You could always go to your local auto parts store and buy Herculiner, It comes in quarts or gallons. I guess a gallon is about $100 dollars. You can do it yourself, but I have no idea how it works or if it's really all that. Someone said you tape off where you want it and roll it on.

Yes! The $1600 covered all the body work, repainting, clear coating and the MaxGuard on the sides. That is why I was so happy! Toyota Dealer wanted $4055 for just the body damage. I got it all and a small dent up under the driver door fixed for $1600.
NOTE the dent under driver door:

NOW: It's a little dirty, but dent was fixed nicely!

I like the hurculiner in a can, I will stick to almost anything. I painted my sliders, windshield wipers, mud flaps and my wheels with it. Looks pretty good and I still have some leftover.
