Has anyone used this, or a similar product, to replace carpet? Thoughts for or against?

I wouldn't do it unless it was an off-road toy. Maybe even then I doubt it would. I feel like it would be really hot during hot days and really cold during cold days.

Why not just get weathertech floormats and call it a day?

I'd considered that as well. I had an 89 wrangler I did it to and it made cleanup easy. I am really curious what everyone else's thoughts are on it.

    Thanks for the reply!

You could probably buy a vinyl floor, I know they make it for 1st gens.

You can't really line the floor of a Tacoma with it. These are modern day trucks with a lot of electrical wiring under the carpet. You could build a thin floor to Line-X but then you made your life exceedingly difficult if you have any under the floor electrical issues.

They do make a vinyl floor replacement for the truck. Go with that.
