Rhino lined the whole truck.

Cool...I don't mind having to spend a fair bit of time to clean the truck right-even if it takes two or three wash/dry rotations to get it all.

(I'm thinking about rhino lining the bumpers and rockers on my truck...

 

The guy who applied the coating said it doesn't adhere to the bumper as well as the body. I also figured I'd be getting aftermarket bumpers eventually.

 

Yeah it might seem crazy to people who upgrade every few years but if it's a work truck that an owner plans to keep for 15-20 years it makes sense.

to each there own..but i think it looks like shit...totally makes the truck invaluable in a trade in or if u wanna sell it as well.

lol, i believe the guy who owns the truck doesn't give a shit of looks, and for that matter neither do i, i just hope he joins so there is another member from alaska to hang out with on some trails or ride/meet next summer.

I would, however, recommend staying away from the Rhino lining should anyone decide to refinish their toilet seat!

 

It would certainly have a lot of advantages,no washing waxing,should never rust, wouldn't have to worry about tree limb scratches while offroading. Truck should last forever. If my truck was a few years older i might consider it????

If I lived in Alaska I'd have it Line Xed. That particular truck looks like crap but I've seen Line Xed trucks in person and it looks pretty good. It's pricey and adds a lot of weight though.

 

There's an FJ owner on FJCruiserforums.com that has his whole FJ covered in bedliner and it looks pretty impressive. He did it the right way though.

 

That pic is hard to tell. Keep in mind everyone, that is Alaska. Looks like there's salt all over the truck. Might look good all cleaned up and with a camera that has more than 1mpx

 

lift it. put tires on it. and bumpers. then it will look good

 

have to agree, would be hard to trade a truck in after doing that and getting a decent price for it.
