I'm looking to take precautionary measures and want to purchase a recovery strap and shackle hitch...without breaking the bank. The odds of these items seeing use more than 1 or 2 times isn't very high..but I'd like to have them just incase.

I've came across this brand on Amazon and they have very good reviews and the pictures of them in use look impressive. Has anybody here used them before? If you buy 4 or more you get a 20% discount so that also sweetens the deal...would buy a set for myself and a friend if they're TW worthy.

    Appreciate any input.

I have the 20 and 30 foot Rhino straps, trailer hitch shackel and two pack of d rings. All have worked well for me. Just keep in mind these Rhino straps are not for a snatch recovery situation. ARB and Bubba rope are both great snatch straps. The Rhino are tow/recovery straps and do serve their purpose in a recovery bag.

I have their 20 foot strap, 3 shackles, and their hitch. I am pretty impressed with the quality of the strap. I also like the fact that they send the gear with a large bag that everything (including the hitch) will fit in. I store mine in the bag behind my back seats in my gen 3 TRD Off Road. It fits back there very nicely.

I too have their shackle hitch, tow strap and 2 d rings but still haven't needed to use them. Their quality appears to be good and supposedly made in USA. I liked their stuff enough to also purchase and just received today two of their tire pressure gauges since I broke the head off of an old pencil style one. Again quality seems to be pretty good.

What’s the load limit on the straps and shackles?

I have a couple of their 3/4 shackles that are rated at a WLL of 4 3/4 tons.

Rhino Mail call. This thing is a solid piece of steel. Holes for Horizontal and vertical positions. I'm impressed.20180410_085833.jpg
