I reccommend gathering at Lenoir Walmart. Hit richland- it pops out on Blue Ridge parkway, just east of Boone. We will be off roading up the escarpment.

I would allow 4 hrs for Richland road ride. Then more for Capones restaurant.

Boone to Hurrincane creek is 2.5 hrs or so.

Camp at otw to Hurricane at Grandfather mtn???

I believe we were tossing around 12/17 weekend.

12/17 is perfect for me I start my vacation from work that week.

Understandable. I'm 2" over stock with no armor other than sliders.

 

I am just slightly more, sliders too. Have aluminum skids, did not have to use.

First 1/3 is very slow going.

 

Richland rd. No armor other than stock. 285's & 3 inch lift. No problems. Ready to go again !

 

@SC2SC I found some map info and legit sources here. I marked out what I could following markings on Google Maps, then found the Screenshots for GIS land info, then found the guys GPS recording. I plan to make my own GPS recording while we are out there.
