Yeah im in no rush. Oh by the way the 16th is the weekend of Fathers Day.

I am not sure 100% if I can swing it, but would love to join you guys if I could work it out...

Meanwhile, I'm gonna be busy for a while. I have a lot of work to do on the OGT after this last trip to Citrus and my lapse in judgement concerning a certain mudhole. Cost me a radiator and flooded passenger floorboard.

 

Yeah, I had a real attack of stupidity there. I was alone, on my way to the meet up point and I drove into the thing in 2WD, got bogged down, put it in 4WD and backed all the way out of it...then I drove right back into it thinking being in 4WD would let me drive right through it...not. Luckily, I was getting just enough cell service standing on my toolbox that I could text Kyle, since I didn't have LeeM's number at the time, and he relayed the message to LeeM (who luckily managed to be in a spot where he was getting cell service) so he could come rescue me.

Otherwise I'd have been using the ol' HiLift winch trick to try and get myself out.

 

Awesome. Thanks. I will wait for the wife to be in a good mood to ask and see if I can make it 3-4 hour drive will suck but nothing close to me is open for wheeling right now.

, you probably have no idea how appropriate that statement is. Baka means "idiot" or "stupid" in Japanese, so my member name actually means Stupid Taco. And yeah, what I did there was pretty effin' stupid.

He said it might be a possibility. He wanted to come yesterday, but he was getting his new tires put on and it was his wife's birthday. Why he got new tires on his truck for his wife's birthday, baffles me. It would have gone over like a lead brick at my house, but maybe things work different in Seminole, haha.

I've gotta double check my work schedule and see if I'm off that weekend or not first but id be down for being someone's copilot especially after all the rain we've been getting don't want to be slowing people down out there getting stuck or even potentially messing up another motor.

 

Well if Rick opts out, you know my right seat is yours.

Edit: I'm thinking that I might have to see if I can pinch off the damaged tubes in my current radiator and wait until after Richloam to put my good one in, haha.

We have all been there. I remember when I learned just how deep the water has to be for my tundra to float, and thereafter gained the knowledge that the tundra cab is watertight...

For approximately 3 mins

If I had a snorkel the truck would have chugged right thru, thankfully I got past the actual hole before the motor stalled out from water intake otherwise I would have had some serious water damage

 

Awesome! Yeah, if you can keep moving, the door seals work pretty good. Not so much if you're sitting still.

 

Well it looks like I'm on call that weekend but I'm going to try and switch weekends with someone. That could work I'd just hate for it to spring a leak out there
