Could do without the heat though. On the other hand, I'd rather deal with the heat than have to drive in snow and ice...well, ice, mainly. That said, if it was between 45 and 70 year around, that'd be freakin' perfect, lol. Dunno where such a place is though.

I just left Florida this morning for a couple of hours and ill be out of state again tomorrow

 

I was planning on taking the bronco out this weekend just to see how it would hold up but my shifter messed up and after going through all of the junkyards in my area and searching on countless web sites I finally found an oem one on eBay but it won't be here until maybe Wednesday hopefully that's all that's wrong

 

Bummer. Hopefully it'll be back to running before next Sunday. What was it doing?

 

The bushings in it are wore out and is allowing it turn from side to side while in any gear also I had to fight with it for about ten minutes to take reverse it just kept popping right back out

 

That sucks. I hates me a sloppy shifter. Hopefully the shifter forks aren't bent as well.

 

Yeah I'm hoping that's all it is other wise I don't know if ill have the time to pick up the parts and replace them by sunday

 

FYI I sold all my 9mm yesterday

 

Allright ill let my boss know Monday and if the bronco ain't going by Sunday I guess I'll just bring out my taco

 

Man, we're gonna get boned hard. I was looking at the forecast for next Sunday. Granted it's probably not very accurate a week out, but it's calling for rain and there's a cold front coming through (although the high is still supposed to be 85 ). That should make things interesting.

 

We are going to play in mud/water ...what's a little rain gonna hurt ..

 

I was kinda planning on staying dry myself (or at worst, getting my feets wet hooking up the strap to pull someone out).

As you say, a little rain won't hurt, as long as it doesn't turn into lightening storms.

Just got my front diff seals replaced , Jason found my front crank seal was leaking also (replaced)
And had him slap my 5100s in the front while he was in there

Just gotta reinstall my monster skid plate , and I'm all set

 

All we need now is for Mike and Josh to fix their shit and we'll be set...

 

Hey now I'm just waiting on the big brown truck to bring me my shifter and I should be good to go

Heh, the weather forecast now looks completely different. No cold front and it's supposed to be hot with a 30% chance of rain. Wonder how many times that will change until Sunday?
