I know I haven't posted on here in a long time. Shit I haven't seen my truck in a month. This kit and a few other things I'm not ready to name have buried this project.

The part I will say is that this build is over budget by like $20,000 and I don't even have a working truck. Well actually I don't have a truck I can afford to pick up.

What was the misunderstood part? Not a single part fit right. The towers / hoops were wrong. The steering length is wrong. The upper A-arms lengths are wrong. The bushings were wrong. The bolts/hardware was wrong. The hubs to spindles didn't fit. The limit straps were wrong. The brake caliper mounting tabs are wrong. Etc.....

yikes!!! I knew once you started posting pictures and we had measurements something was fishy with the kit...... Thanks for the insight!

Sorry it had to happen to you...... some companies unfortunately take advantage of the first couple customers to live and learn, but we never hear from those customers perspectives often enough

Today I paid the Piper and my truck is at last coming home.... on a flatbed.

    On the to-do list:
    *********************************
    -Shorten the upper A-arms
    -Shorten the steering
    -Cut off the caliper mounts
    -Fab new caliper mounts
-Replace front rotors & pads to get proper alignment.
-Wire up headlights, turn signals etc.
    -Paint bumper / front fenders
    -build new speedo assembly
-Clearance area for cv boot straps

Yeah, lesson #1 learned...always do as much of your own work as possible.
Lesson #2 go with a proven product unless you are ready to do some serious fab work.

I have not contacted Solo personally. Since I haven't seen my truck for a month and IMW was dealing with it up till now.

Game plan has changed now. Truck is in my hands & I will be calling this week.

The camber is stuck at max adjustment in the positive. The toe is somewhat close, but it is also at max adjustment.

I think before people start forming thier opinions on solo, give them a chance to reply. I've been to the shop and met the owner. He seems like a really stand up guy. His work and knowledge reminds me of DMZ (Tim).

X2. Just curious but how did they manage to go that far over budget? That's pretty insane
