I am at the point where I need to build an exhaust. With the dual batteries under the bed, the factory location is taken.

Every time I look at something I find it incomplete. I was so frustrated over the thanksgiving break that I didn't touch it. The fenders are mounted with half the factory bolts so they are loose as shit. There needs to be more fiberglass work to make tabs work.

The ARB locker was supposed to be done. The compressor doesn't turn on.

The wiring from the cab needs to be wrapped and sealed to keep out water.

Intake system needs completing, as does the exhaust.

Wiper fluid resevoir and pump was moved to other side of engine bay. Wire and hose needs to be modified to work.

Took off the front plate and painted the steel bumper tubing.

    Hey,

I am in a situation like many others before me.
You dump all your spare money and then some into your truck, then life catches up to you.

For me it's building our first home. It's been about a year since I started. Now I have no free time and no money. So the truck and other projects sit unfinished.

My truck is assembled, and drivable. It's 85% done. It gets tons of attention when driven, but has not been off-road a single time since built. Sad!

I've been trying to justify keeping it. I know the potential is huge when done since I've completed all the hard work. It's just that when I look forward I don't see any free time for some years to come.

On the flip side, with only 30k on the odometer and more money invested than the truck cost me when new... It will be hard to walk away from.

As far as the truck goes, the things that remain to complete are:
    - Fenders need a little fiberglass work to bolt by the door
    - Paint fenders
    - Rear fenders need couple support brackets to stop shake near wheels were there is no mounts.
    - transfer case needs one gear installed to finish speedo, currently using GPS speedo
    - install front bypasses
    - Mob the desert!!

Hey if you can drop a tranny and put a gear in over a weekend... Come on over! With my schedule it's a whole different story.

Two little kids and a wife can straiten you out for responsibilities. That's for sure!
