Ride Comparison between 265/70 C-load vs. 255/80 E-load

    Hypothetically if comparing two same make and model tires, but one is 265/70/17 C-load and the other is 255/80/17 E-load, how would the ride quality be on-road between the two? I see some mixed reviews about ride quality when I search around the internet, but I thought I would ask here too. I don't want to jeopardize highway driving comfort by going to an E-load unless the differences are negligible. From what I can tell, it also depends on the PSI ran in them so that would be important to dial in also. Off-road I know E-loads are typically much tougher so that's not a concern. I really want to step up to a 255/80/17 but am hesitant on the ride for my wife and kids. Thanks for any help!

    Sweet tire! The only thing I’ve heard is 255s get stuck in the grooves the semis make, makes them feel a bit grabby.
    The right tire pressure makes a difference for ride quality.
