Any differences in ride from stock to blue or black.
Any differences in ride from blue to black?

I understand weight differences. Any extra info would be awesome.
Also 15% off with code TACOBETTER

    Worth the money?

This good idea compared to new leaf packs?

Are these easy to steal off a truck?

    Thank you everyone.

Given that I couldn’t find much info about them either, I’ll try to be of some help!
I have the blue set. I put them on after adding a bed rack, bedslide, tent and gear as an intermediate solution until I knew what leaf pack I wanted to go with.

The good: They do exactly as they’re designed and advertised. They certainly help carry additional weight and stop the drop you’d get on factory leafs. For something driven on road only, towing, etc, they’d probably be just fine.

The bad: the ride quality is terrible. The back of the truck now feels near solid, which, in a way it is. And this is coming from someone who owns, works on and drives modded sports cars everyday. On smooth roads it’s just fine but any bumps and the back end feels very stiff and gives an interesting effect with the front end being properly sprung and soft. It limits the amount of rear suspension travel quite a bit. With the weight removed you get a little ride quality back but they’re still there and still limit the travel.

In my opinion, they were worth the money as I needed a temporary solution and now know what I’m after in a rear suspension set up. They’d be near impossible to steal off the truck so I wouldn’t worry about that. Hope this helps!

I have the blue 612-40s. I have a long bed with a heavy cap and about 100lbs of extra constant load so call it 300lbs total. The SS make contact with the frame all the time as apposed to having a gap. They are firm with a little less spring compression over bumps and dips at speed, but also really reduce body roll in turns. I like them just fine for keeping me from sagging. They are great for hauling/towing too. They support 500lbs at 50% compression so they are not that stiff, and don’t limit travel much in my experience. There isn’t that much up travel to begin with and these will compress when needed (it’s more than 500lbs of force when the weight of the truck is pushing up on that leaf). They work well for me, until I eventually put a new suspension on the truck when it needs it.
