Still new to all this... I was wondering how high you can adjust your ride hight on 3rd gen tacos before you should drop diff with some spacers.? Like what is a refrence to how cv angles should be before it’s to much of an angle.. sorry hard for me to explain what I am trying to ask... like what is a way of knowing if my angles are too much...? Right now I am running around 2.5-2.75 inches of lift with icons.

Also curious what thread length are you guys running to get rid of the lean right now I have 1.5 inches on passenger and 2 inches driver

This might be better suited for the technical chat forum than Audio and Video

I think a Mod has to do that. no clue how to make that happen. I might just change the thread title to "please delete"

A mod can move it to the right forum for you @tcBob

Diff drops are a debatable topic...I have one on my truck but in hindsight, I wouldn't have bothered with it...it did next to nothing noticeable for my CV boots. Many have the same opinion but others say they should be installed. Usually when you lift over 2.5" the CV angles start to get too severe. Are your boot fins rubbing eachother? Can you slide a piece of paper between the fins? If you can't then you might need to try a diff drop or lower your lift down a bit to help the angles. When the fins rub they will tear apart in short order

I wouldn't move the thread. I wasn't looking for that specific question, but was nice to see something I might not have seen otherwise. I'm a bit curious too, I'm about to lift mine when I change out the tires.
