    Hey guys,
    Looking to see if anyone has installed a sway bar spacer kit (to drop the sway bar from stock) and if this has helped soften the stiff ride from a lift.

    I installed the Bilstein B8 6112 with ring set to third position, alignment is as per lift, not the factory spec. Stock weight at front.
    Shocks have been worked in on road and heavy trails without the sway bar on.

    I didn't have any obstruction issues with the sway hitting the shocks/coil, and do not need a 'relocation kit' unless someone here has found it smoothed out the ride.

    Ive already tested it without the sway bar and it is WAY smoother, except I understand the reason for the sway bar and wouldn't dare do a moose manoeuvre test without it.
    I do more on than off road.

    Any insight of what someone has done would be greatly appreciated;
    - drop the sway bar mount locations by the amount of the lift?
    - longer sway bar links?

    I used to keep sway bar off. No need for it as long as you are not trying to drive a truck like a dam sports car.
    Heck I even tried to push the truck on turns without one and no problem with it. I did install it back on when I got new suspension that came with a relocation bracket (opted for more plushy ride = more body roll on turns).
    A lot of people drives around without sway bar.
