    Guys, just a head's up. If you do Earl's Ford, DO NOT do what this guy did. We came up on this late Saturday afternoon. It had been abandoned for over half the day according to a fisherman. If you hit the water crossing, stick to the right of the exposed rocks by at least a truck width. Water was about 1/4 up the doors at the deepest portion. Deepest crossing I'd been across, but man the access to the Chattooga at the end of the trail is beautiful.

    It's all county dirt roads, but they're usually poorly maintained and can be a lot of fun if there's been a recent rainy season. Pretty much just hit the dirt and ride to your heart's content. There's a few miles of trails in that area that connect all the way back to Woodland.
