RIGd UltraSwing Tire Carrier

Good morning, everyone. I’m looking to drop some serious duckets on the RIGd UltraSwing. I like all the options they offer, especially the relocation bracket. Anyone here have experience? I don’t plan on running bikes on it, but I’d be interested to hear just how anti-wobble it really is. Thanks dudes and dudettes.

 

I’m also interested if anyone has been running one of these hard off-road?

 

Buddy of mines has a 4Runner and has been rocking an ultra swing for awhile now before they got so popular. Had Jason himself (tacodust) install it and he says he loves it, gets NO wobble whatsoever. Hope this helps. I plan on getting one down the line too once I can cough up the dough

 

And yes, my buddy goes off roading and camping with it quite a bit, uses the table all the time for cooking meals

 

I've been looking at these as well. My wife loves the table. Group buy?

 

@ready6delta has one, I followed him through some trails and a nasty rear end bounce and the ultraswing stayed tight as hell. Definitely solid work

Also they don't do group buys or discounts, for BF they did a bundle offer but thats about all I have seen.

 

yeah, they still have it. Free all weather cutting board, thats it. Probably gonna buy one anyway.

 

@Superman910 followed me on some good trails and some nice obstacles at our buddies place. They are solid man. I have Bounced and drug mine through lots of stuff and no issues. I posted A thread review somewhere on here. Need to go back and update. Let me know if you have questions.

 

I will say the rago molle panel and tray camp table with cutting board is what I should have gotten and would use way more than the rotopax mount. I plan to change and get one soon.

1 company will be coming out with their version of a swing out tire carrier, watch out for my review about it =)

 

If one of you with the ultraswing could do me a favor I would really appreciate it. I am looking for a measurement from say the tailgate handle to the outside of the tire mounted up. I want to get one but not sure if I have enough room to still park it in my garage. I can squeeze out about 18"-19" from my bumper to the garage door.

All I see is a bumper mounted swing out? this thread is about Hitch mounted swing out.. unless I'm missing something?

So Rigd has been in business, let’s say from their first blog in Sep 2018.

Wilco has been making hitch mounted tire swings much longer (April 2017 minimum as per first YouTube video for it) and been in business for 30 years.

Victory maybe is going to make one and people are concerned about this? “Developing or duplicating”
