    I came across this manual when a contractor I was working with wanted to temporarily support a partially demolished building using a tree. Not something that I'm comfortable with as an structural engineer. HOWEVER, if I was stuck, I would flip to chapter 4 and try some of that stuff. It seems like a book just loaded with great info. I'll be saving it my phone for reference if I ever need to use it.
