I have the JBL package in my 2011 with the separate Amp. My right front speaker is very low volume in all modes the tweeter pm that side real low too. I replaced the speaker and tested the replacement with a multimeter too so i'm pretty sure its the input to the speaker.

Anyone have any ideas or anyone know of a very simple step by step troubleshooting that might be around for a reasonably skilled DIY'er with electronics being on the weaker side of my abilities?

It was the exact same type of speaker, I read 4 Ohms from both.
