Stopped by the local Toyota dealer and got the crush gasket set for F/R differentials. Are those the right ones? I remember seeing some pictures posted here of taconians changing the diff juices and the gaskets looks different.

Are new differential drain/fill plug washers really needed? I've reused mine on Toyota pickups dating back to a 1974 I still own and none of them ever leaked or seeped even with Mobil 1 synthetic gear oil. Ditto in regard to Toyota automatic transmission oil pan drain plugs.

Don't know if is needed but $7 for gaskets is nothing next to $196 spent on oils for engine and diffs F/R. I know what I'll will be doing Saturday...
