Hey guys, just did an ome full lift with camburg ball uca on a 07 dclb sport. I need new tires, currently I have bald Toyo OC AT in 265/70/17 10ply. (They were pretty stiff) I hunt in remote location and like the confidence LT tire gives me.

I have been eyeing Cooper AT3, but now Im really looking at the ST MAXX. What gets me is the 255/75 are listed at 31.77" and the 265/70 are listed 31.66" I like the tall skinny idea, I don't really want to trim, but will if its necessary. (I don't want to put tires on and have it look funny) I need it functional, I get in some crazy tight location deer hunting.

What I cant really find and getting discrepancies on is tire weight. Is there a point in which the weight of these tires will trash your drivetrain/rear end?

From what I have read on here, your really not gaining much by going to 275/70 with road resistance.

Have any of you ran any of these sizes and regretted it, like to little/much tire?

    Thx

I have toyo at2's lt265/75r16. 6ply. They are awesome. Tougher than p-rated but not as heavy as 10 ply. Idk if this helps or not

Eta: toyo doesn't come in a 6 ply in lt in the size you listed. I can't help you and your huge 17" wheels....
