I'd rather not think of all the $ spent :(
Does anyone know if all 3rd-gen Tacos fog lights meet at a connector on the support below the horns (2 wire connection)?

The reason I ask is I've put on an aftermarket bumper and will be selling the Rigids. I want to make sure I'm giving the buyer everything they need to wire these up. I have the housing, lights and harness from the lights to this connector.

Along those lines, would anyone know if I can wire ARB fog lights into that same 2 wire connection? This would eliminate running wires to the battery, new switch etc. I'm guessing the original fog lights have a circuit breaker and wouldn't need to be ran separate.

If someone has done this, I'd love to safe some trouble shooting/testing. Thank you!

How about trying a set of Baja fogs. I bought a set and they are plug n play.

Wait.. you're installing a plate bumper and worried about plug n play fog lights??

How much draw are your replacement fogs pulling? I think the OEM circuit can handle at least 55 watts per side. If you go LED they won't pull that much. So 2 wires and some shrink tubing and some electrical tape and good to go. you can purchase a wire loom on a-zon too if you dont wanna do any work. Pretty sure it will be plug and play unless your new fogs are super powerful.

The ARB bumper came with fog lights. It also came with a full harness (wiring to battery, switch, circuit breaker) I'm just trying to figure out instead of wiring another light and another switch, if I could use the factory setup. I'll test it later but wanted to see if someone has done it to save a few steps. It's not the install, its wanting to use the existing set up/switch for the fogs.

Thanks for the info, these are 51 watts each so I may try it. Thanks @bobrown14

This is a 2G viewpoint on the 3G, but when I had my 2G, I spliced on a male plug end to match the fog lamp connector (H11 I think) and that allowed me to be plug and play to the stock system.

Edit: This is with the ARB fog lamps into my OEM wiring.

That should work... use your old plug from the OEM lamps and good to go. I'd solder shrink wrap and then tape with electrical tape. Look like new!
