Rigid Industries Duallys Mounted Above Valance

Looks good OP, what did the lights run you anyway?

 

About $212 with shipping to Hawaii. Pretty good if you ask me. I kinds wanna get the d2 though. Lol

 

Def would like to see some night time pics....when you get the chance.

 

The duallys (1300 lumens) don't put out enough light to take a good picture. But I'll fuss with my dslr some more lol

 

Is it a good spread of light being behind there?

 

Yeah. as good as the "spot" Duallys can create.
haha I just ordered a set of D2's to swap out in the same spot.

I'll post night pictures with those once they come in. The D2s are a lot brighter so my camera should be able to give you guys a good idea of how it works.

I got a couple of D2s off Amazon for $308.00 (free shipping to hawaii!!!) so I put those in the valance instead. And moved the duallys to my new hood hinge brackets from Famous Fabrications. This is the results.

Not bad they look good I think I kinda like the relentless fab hood mounts a little better but not sure if they would work with those lights but I do like the look

 

Wow! that looks good!!! can you do this without cutting the plastic?

 

Probably a stupid question....but, I read in the post earlier that these are plug and play but what do you use for a switch? I see in Bartlett18's post that his factory fogs are off....so is there another switch installed?

 

Nice solution! I'm not willing to cut anything yet lol. Unfortunately, the valance does impede some of the potential light output. but thats what I get for not willing to cut stuff. lol

 

I got a set of duallys from my dad last Christmas. This happens to be exactly where I mounted them, except I bolted them to the front aluminum crash bar and cut out holes in the black plastic lower grille for the lights to sit in. Here's a pic:

 

I wanted to raise the duallys in my valance up a little bit because the valance would block too much of the light.

So I went to city mill and got a 5"x1" bracket from City Mill.

I then used a bolt cutter to cut the bracket to size. (If I didn't cut the bracket it would rub the white part of the frame.)

This was the result! I love the way it turned out!

I have some too and I want to put them in the lower valance, but I got a 2014 is there anybody that has did it in there 2012+

 

Hey guys. Thanks for the idea! I had a set of Dually and D2 driving lights to install, so had adjustable Aluminum brackets fabricated for each side.

The project with all these lights turned out longer than expected. Every set of lights are on their own button/control, and can all be operated alone if desired.
