Rigid Industries fog lights....Poor Quality?

Mine must be older. I wish I had the newer style...sounds like they have a better coating on them.

 

A quick google search yielded quick a few pictures of Rigid Fog's without the silver letters.

Did you call rigid or email them? I called them once and they answered right away.

Could be using old pics. Not a lot of internet vendors update pics when revisions happen.

 

i had them, wasn’t super impressed with the light output.. and one of the lenses cracked in 6 months.

Really! I mean if you want to yeah but don’t feel like you need too. I’m not really expecting anything since they are out of warranty. Mostly just disappointed they only lasted as long as they did. I expected more for the price.

 

Rigid updated their styling a few years ago. I have lights from before and after and the ones from before look just like yours. Definitely not a tell tale sign for them being fakes.

As for the finish, I’ve never had any of my Rigids turn out like that. I’ve had other brands of lights end up looking like that but not Rigid. Regardless of mounting location.

A tip on what to do... fill out Rigid’s warranty claim online, send them in, and wait to see what Rigid says. They have awesome customer service in their warranty division and I’m sure they’ll help you out. I’ve had to go through their warranty department 3 times (twice for moisture and once for a cracked lens) and they’ve made it right and then some. If you do this, you’ll get confirmation whether or not you bought the real deal and hopefully Rigid will make it right by you.
