Totally understand, up until very recently I've been in your shoes exactly. I found that the places that didn't get aggravated when I called with questions knowing I wasn't ready to buy, are the places I bought from. It is nice to make a sale though :p

yepp. I found a forum where a guy had made his own light bars that i am gonna try, just because I cant see paying over 1K for a single bar. but I am curious as to what kind of deals are out there.

I can tell you in all honesty that the home built bars just don't compare. The lens design that rigid has patented is what gives you light OUTPUT. Thats what separates vision x and rigid. Rigid lights go further and stay brighter at distance because of the lenses. I know a lot of people that can put an LED on a circuit board and power it and even deal With the heat dissipation, but getting that LED to projext to an effective distance is really what you're payibg for.

I just saw like 2" or 3" square lights on a Raptor behind the hood near the windshield. The installation looked like a stock bracket, maybe from Ridgid. I would def be interested in those.

The brackets or the lights? I don't believe rigid makes a bracket for that application however, I know dwreck of famous fab makes one and relentless does as well. The lights are more than likely duallys. Pm inbound.

RDS light is not priced yet and won't be available for a few months I'm told. That thing is legit though. The 50 has a usable angle of 50 degrees as well as projecting out almost a mile. I may have to put one on my list.

Looking over this a bit more and honestly would rather see you grab two sets of Dually's as opposed to the 4" light bars. The bars have less than 100 lumens more and the cost is a lot higher than just running Dually's. Also, got my prices for the other bars finally so you'll have a PM coming shortly.
