I want to put them in this spot. Duallys would hang down too far IMO. Probably wouldn't be an issue for me, but it'd kind of defeat the purpose of such a low profile bumper lol. I should take my duallys off my ditch brackets and see what they look like down there

No it's not super protected but it'd take a perfect hit to get the lights how they're mounted now. I've yet to find myself around big boulders so I don't think it will ever be an issue.

This pic shows a little better how they sit.

I still love that you loved it enough to get it up here lol. It looks a lot better with my new tires too. Doesn't look like its too wide anymore. At least not in person.

I'm so happy you got me a pair!!!

I bet they have an internal cutoff shield like projectors do. They would have to to have a cutoff like you described :)

What would the Marine R2-46 Pair run me? looking for the hyperspot/driving combo one. Thinking of putting them in my headlights........

I'll see if I've got them in stock whitecloud, I know we have the regular ones not sure about marine. As soon as I saw them I thought the same thing hahaha. I do have an extra set of headlights....

I'll check on that today for you bud.

None of the marine r2-46's whitecloud, I do have regular though. Any reason you'd prefer marine?

No reason. Thought the white was cool. Was thinking of painting the whole interior white and fabbing a mount to stick them in there. Would be a cool look. But all black would be pretty sweet too. What is the cost looking like? And any chance you would know the heat output for extended run times?

You'd be looking at $683.99 for those my man, shipped to ya. I can call rigid on Monday and see what they think but I can't imagine not running into issues sealing them up with no way to flow air over them. When folks have been putting the A-series under the wheel wells on the front side where theres less air we've seen them melting because they've got too little air over the heatsyncs. As soon as I saw the R2-46's last year I thought the same thing. I wonder though if you didnaway with the physical taco lense if it'd help.

That is kinda what I was thinking. To skeletonize the headlight housing so that they could get some air to them. I kinda figured that they would get pretty hot. Especially keeping them on for long runs and drives.

Minor adjustment to your plastic housings. If you look at how that sits in he fog hole youcan see a bit of it would have to be trimmed to not impede the beam. Seen a few guys do that, doesnt look bad at all.

Do I need the kit for the other lights as a starting point? I need something to mount the lights to when I remove the housing for the current fogs. I think everything is plastic back there. I want those Tundra brackets to fit the Tacoma...

Or I could just go all Pelfy on the bumper and have holes made for the lights. Trying to not spend so much money until I know my tax situation. The Govt hates me...or loves me depending on your view. I hate them.

Just grab those brackets and some duallys, or D2's for that matter and go to town. Should be good with just that.

And I feel ya on the gubment. I'm taxed at 35% iirc. This time of year sucks for self employment.

Guess what I got guys :D Ben is THE MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are crazy bright! They outshine me 55w TL projectors out to about 30 feet! They are basically hyperspots with an additional optic in front, no cutoff shields inside. I'm hoping these pics can help some of you guys take the plunge!

    IMG_0737_44947dd570493c888e1a0b6ef533aceaa5e02d39.jpg

They changed how the wires exit the body, and they come with a SS (or nickle plated?) bracket now..

Beautiful pics nate! Thanks a ton for putting those up. The lights look awesome! I believe they are on the website but I should have some more in stock if you'd like to order them.
