I have a separate switch for the backlighting, you can connect it to the DRL switch if you wanted to. I personally only use the backlight at night so I didn't want it connected to the DRL.

I got it for 270 on autoanything they had a 20% discount. I had a mount custom built for that spot since I couldn't find any pre made.

Cool, thanks. This is on my short list of light bars. Not as bright as the SR series it seems, but it's a lot less $$

It's worth the money for the quality and it still has really good output. You can use the code "scare79" on autoanything.com till the end of October and that'll get you 20% off :)

I'm looking at adding the 10" radiance bar with amber backlight to my 2nd gen. There doesn't seem to be much info about these bars on here so I have a few questions for you.

Are you happy with the backlight brightness? Is it bright enough to be visible during the day at all, or it only noticeable at night?

I'm debating on using the backlight as a way to do the grille "Raptor LED" mod. Possible even place it directly behind the "TOYOTA" in my pro grille.

@Chase8059 I honestly don't use the backlighting that often but to answer your question, yes I am happy with it. It is bright enough to use during the day, I think for what you want to do with it for the grill it'll do just enough to give a glow to your grill. I'll try to get some daylight pictures for you when this weather clears up. Check autoanything.com when you're ready to buy they always have 20% off deals.

Awesome, thanks. I actually ordered it through the guy on here in the deals section. He had competitive pricing and seems to have dealt alot with the Tw community.
