Dude truck looks good man! how much did you drop on those running boards? I like how they are really tight and tucked in.

I guess I've got to start this very soon....
These are actually rock sliders made by Relentless Fab. They were a little pricey and took quite a long time to be made, but all together I am pretty damn satisfied with them.

Finish is holding up pretty well, and yes I did powder coat them. My take is that I'd like the first coat to be done right. That means no rust or rot in places that I may not have prepped right or for any other reason. As they get scratched up from sliding and doing their job I'll touch them up. Pricey but def protects your investment. If I did I again I would have went with weld on instead of bolt on.

I'm out in IE - but a friend from gym is a truck capt at 14's . Not sure if he moved, I know he got promoted and might have gone to San Pedro? Back in the day I was pursing it- went to academy/ worked as EMT in the "wood" aka Inglewood and was a reserve @ Vernon. Doing something else now. Great career man-props to you . Like said have buddies and family with other departments (Compton & Burbank/El Segundo).

For me; initially I didn't want to weld to the frame. But in hindsight weld on is less weight(not by much) and just less chance for anything to move and or shift. After using my sliders to fix a wheel stud, I noticed the slider shifted and needed to he retightened. Just my two cents.

One thing bolt on has over weld on is when they get super rusty you can just un-bolt and repaint the entire thing off the truck

    Riley, love the build.

I like the method NV wheels. In your OP you have "Bora 1 Hubcentric Spacers upfront for now".

May I ask you future plans or at least any downside to your current arrangement?
