Hey yall, I got 22" about 6months ago. At first cool, but the highway ride is uncomfortable. It feels like I'm "floating" on my tires when I hit 70-80mph, it does not feel safe. Also, my turning radius is horrible now. I miss my stock rims/tires! I went on craigslist and found someone who wants my rims. He has a 2003 chevy avalanche with 265/70/17 and we'd trade, of coarse with cash involved. ;) I know the lug pattern is the same but will the rims/tires fit and give me a ride similar to my stocks?

Are they aftermarket rims on the Chevy. Chevy has the same 6x5.5 lug pattern, but if I'm not mistaken, they have a smaller hub bore than Toyota. Better do a test fit before everything is final.

    what Toy4life said

the Chevy center bore is smaller than the tacoma, so while the lug pattern will fit, the rim will likely not sit correctly...

chevy wheels are also hub centric and the tacoma is lug centric...

also, the stock chevy backspace might be a lil different than the tacoma...

Thanks Chad and Mike. Chad, they are OEM chevy 17" rims. They are on a 03 avalanche. Does this mean they will fit? Also, if the lug pattern is the same but the hub bore is different, will it simply not fit when I try to put them on my taco? Or will I have to take a test ride and feel for vibrations?

the lugs will fit, but the wheel may not seat properly since the bore wont be big enough...
