I have a 2010 Tacoma PreRunner and I am wanting to replace the stock rims on the truck. I found a set of 17x9 Procomp (5161-7983) wheels that I really like, but I'm not sure if they will fit considering they are several inches wider than the stock rims. I would go with a narrower wheel, but 9 inches is the narrowest they make that model.

I was wanting to put a set of 265/70R17 Falken Wildpeak A/T3s (28034300) on those rims, but once again, I am worried about them fitting since everything on the truck is stock.

From what I have read online, the tires that I have selected WILL fit with no rubbing on stock suspension. However, in all of the reading I have done, I have not been able to find much on how the increased rim width would affect it.

So my question is, would these rims with these tires fit my truck without any problems?

    Thank you

Yea. Not so much the width as it is the backspace on the wheel. I’d suggest at least 4” or a negative offset

So this is the offset calculator that I found and it actually looks perfect! As you can see, the negative offset on the wheels I want brings it away from the suspension just over an inch. This will allow for more clearance for the larger tires.

Thanks for the help guys. If yall see anything wrong with this setup, let me know before I pull the trigger and buy them!

If you do have to trim the fender liners, it can be done easily with a razor blade in a few minutes.

What is the backspacing on those
    Wheels?

Mine is 4.75 with a similar Pro Comp 17x9 wheel, -6 offset and same tire in the link above.

Same exact specifications as your truck, I took a look at your thread as well.
