So, I've been on TW for a few years but I sold my Tacoma before I moved here so I haven't posted in the Hawaii section. Anyways, I just bought a 97 4Runner yesterday and it came with Mickey Thompson Classics that are 15X10s and they are too wide for me, I'm looking for something more narrow. Anybody have a set of 16/17/18s that are 7 or 8 inches wide with decent tires they would be willing to sell/trade?

It's too dark to take pictures right now but I'll try to add some soon.

    Thanks!

What size tires? and what are you looking to get for them, I like the MT Classics, 15X10 is just too wide.

Why are all the wheels on Craigslist so overpriced?

Makes sense... If I knew everybody was gonna cut my price in half I'd put it up for double so I get what it's worth.

I'm still looking... Hoping to keep it under $400ish... willing to trade as well, I have some random car audio stuff, a head unit, couple speakers, subs/amp/with install kit, I have a set of 4X100 15X7 Momo Arrows w/38 offset that won't fit on anything I own, Beat up old BMW 5X120 16X7, and a set of 4-225/55R16s (I think) Decent tread left. Lots of random old BMW parts...

Sadly, I'm selling the current 15X10s because they are too wide... If I still had my lifted Tacoma I'd consider something wider but on a stock 4Runner I'm going to try for something no wider than 8 inches.

So, I picked up a set of stock 4Runner/Tacoma rims that came off a 1997. All I need now are a set of tires, anybody have some decent 265/70R16's?

Are they alloy? Did you get the stock lug nuts with the rims?

They are alloy, no lug nuts but I will probably buy a set before I put the wheels on. My current lug nuts are all a bit rusty.
The rims need to be refinished but I can do that... I'll still be saving a lot of money since the rims were free, all 4 Center caps came with the wheels too.

Still refinishing the wheels but am looking for a set of tires, hoping to spend less than $400. If you know of a good set of 265/70R16 tires, please pass the info along. It's 2WD so I'm not needing any M/T's. A/T's or L/T's are fine for me since it's a DD/workhorse. Once the new wheels are on I'll have a set of Mickey T Classic's for sale, 15X10 with good Michelin 225/75R15's
