That sucks...all these famous people dying :( loved his shows (even as a 90s kid) used to watch the black and white shows all the time. Wife and I were having this discussion the other day, all these actors are getting old and being replaced by people like snooki and the kardashians.

A real family show that would not work too well these days. Lots of comedy and a show that made you laugh a lot.

    RIP Andy!

The Andy Griffith Show will always be my favorite TV program. I think I have most episodes memorized... They truly don't make them like that any more. RIP Andy.

Those sloppy people aren't actors. They are just trash that happened to make it on TV because they are sluts.

I used to watch The Andy Griffith show when I was young. RIP Andy Griffith.

I watch/streamed several episodes just this past weekend while at work. Greatest TV sit com (but usually a lesson to be learned as well) ever. Now, I've got to go find "No Time for Sergeants" his best movie, IMO.

Agree on No Time for Sergeants. I heard the news on the way in to work and immediately thought back to that movie.

RIP Andy. A good man. A good mentor (Andy Griffith Show). An irreplaceable American icon. :(

PERFECT role for Andy in this video:
