This was too good of a price. If it fails again, I will FJ swap.

Or hell, if you wanted to drive all the way to Irvine to lend a hand for some beer, food, and $$...I'll do the swap and treat you well haha. I just figured it would take a lot less time so I dont have to ride a bike 10 miles to school.

    I'm just indecisive ok

Hey well...At least we get to go wheeling now...

I doubt I could get a transfer case in by this weekend from an FJ. I also would have to get an ADD switch from Rock Solid Toys and whatever else is needed. It would probably be next weekend. If you actually want to, I'd be super down to do it.

A 94 year old owned it. You're gonna need gasoline at this point hahahahaha.

On another note, did you end up getting it to fit perfectly?

So here's the breakdown what happened lol.

    1. Truck posted for sale. I test drive a ton of different cars (Tacoma, Camry, Rav4)....

    2. Buyer is interested, is ready to buy.

    3. I clean truck, test everything out. Switch to 4wd - Immediately stuck. Shift back to 2wd, nothing happens. Rip ADD actuator apart, solder contacts, check everything. No luck. Aiden James Customs (very nice people) swing by to inform me the Transfer Case is shot. I made them a bouquet of flowers (if interested I'll post a picture because I'm proud as hell of how it turned out hahaha)

    4. I do math on how much it costs to fix (at this point I'm thinking $3,000 because I'm stupid). Realize I'm going to lose a ton of money.

    5. I tell buyer(s) about issue and that I am going to keep the truck

    6. I sell expensive camera to afford the expensive transfer case swap

    7. I realize transfer case is $200....

And here we are at 9:22 p.m. on February 19th, 2019.

Ah my current camera is a little newer then that ): I sold a 1DX Mark 2, my dream camera. Oh well...

However your buddy has a good camera, those 5D's go forever. Tell him to post it on the photography page that is on Instagram (forgot the name but I think it's run by the same dude who ran Overland Market), should sell quick!!

Definitely will. I’m hoping to run John Bull again this summer and actually make it, not get stuck on every damn rock and have to turn around. @Shmellmopwho you in?
