I will get an alignment first this morning but

It drives well. Handles, different. A little oversprung still so I need to add the winch soon. I’ll comment again when it’s all set up.

Drivers side CV is still spewing grease so I need to clean it then resecure the hose/check for tears.

We’ll see when I slap another 200lbs of weight up there, should be just fine then.

If I could even begin to desrcibe the 6 hours of cussing it took to get this alignment. The tech gave up and I did it on the rack

I have free lifetime alignment at Firestone and they let me do it so...win win! I’ll keep that in mind though

Honestly, I would have BUT if I remove my CV’s this bitch will cycle a shit ton.

Shane and I were talking and he estimated I still have ~6” more of downtravel.

Lol, I was kidding bout the 3.5. For what you do, tuned 2+ will perform fine. With 3.5 gotta get fiberglass and then the rear tries to keep up and like you said, it's a snowball.

Crazy, IFS on the tacoma is a bitch sometimes. but it's the price we pay for 4x4. Least with having 2+ upfront you gain a few more inches of articulation and travel.

I just got one. I think pulling the caster back may help. I set it pretty far forward

So here’s what I’ve came to realize - My spring seats are wrong. Take a look at the difference between mine and @Jim Bob ‘s . This also means my 18” 700# spring will
be way, way too long with the new spring seat.

My plan is to call King, order the right seat, go to Kartek and get 16” King Springs and try that out.

Tie rod extensions - I’ll deal with that problem later. CV is getting replaced on monday.

Hopefully that’s enough to get it back on the road!

That’s the rod end not the spring seat

    He has extended rod ends
