I can only imagine how good it's going to perform once you work out all the kinks, but this has to be one of the coolest looking 2nd gens around. Good work! #DCLBgoals

Got some lockable storage for Coachella next weekend. Always liked these shells and it was a score

Huge fan of these doors. Makes it super easy to grab stuff except my truck is a little tall so i can’t exactly touch the truck bed through the side. Waxed the truck too today.

Happy to say the kit is starting to come together. New set of CV’s next week and hopefully no more issues and I can go testing it soon.

A lot of people ask me if they should wrap their truck/how it holds up so i’ll make a video on it soon. Short answer: if you actually use it, don’t do it

So far so good. Did another bolt check today and the driver lower ball joint nut was loose. Tightened it up and will check it again in a few days and add some red loctite if need be. 600lb springs feel really damn good. Did some "testing" when I was in the middle of butt-fudge nowhere and everything felt really, really solid. A little soft on a few spots and whoop sections are still hell due to the rear being stiff. I'm learning how to valve shocks (tuning I assume) in 2 weeks which is going to be super rad. Going to load up around 275 pounds of sand bags in the rear so get it *close* to what it would weigh with the camper on.

Build thread is gonna die for a bit until the camper comes. Only thing I really need for the truck are those KB Voodoo bed caps and to seal off the bed + replace pulleys since they whine after drowning the truck.

Also to note: This +2 kit, is not actually a +2 kit. It's like a...+1.35" kit in reality. The +2 kits allow for the tie rod extensions to be fully threaded on and still have room to wiggle. Thinking about it, the only way that this kit would be a +2 is if the tie rod extensions were actually fitting properly. So, after that I've concluded I'm running a +1.35" LT kit with a long-ass shock shoved in there. Welcome to my logic

Some thing which was thought about but was not an issue:
-After adding the 2" rod extensions, I heard from 2-3 people getting the shocks in would be a pain. It was not, shocks fit in just fine.

If I had to do it again/do it over, would I go +2 LT?
Hell no. I would go +3.5 instead from a reputable company.
    *Goes +2 again lololol*

The amount cut off the extensions. It’s somewhere between 1.25-1.75” LT

I'm wondering if the title of this thread should be changed to "What truck cap is Bijan running this week?". Haha.
You seem to be going through those things like a busy hooker goes through johns.

Voodoo magic. Around 322 miles calculated lol. This camper would look sick painted black...I may just keep it and hit it with some black paint out of a harbor freight gun
