If the noise ever started to bother you, you could sound deaden the roof. Eventually I want to do my whole cab, It’s so loud in my truck :lalala:

Ah maybe one summer day when I’m super bored hahaha. I’ve always wanted to do it since our trucks have literally no sound insulation

    Dynamat is too expensive haha.

I’ll do a cheaper alternative and just cover 50% of the doors and the cab/bed area.

No fender liners, wide stance (LT), hella poke/low offset wheels, 35’s, uniballs all over the place, leaf springs.... I’m sure ANY insulation is a good idea but I consider it a moot point with most trucks.

Dang. I don't know if it's the angle or just the picture, but that thing looks like fitting 2 people would be ROUGH.

Haha it fits my gf and I fine but it definitely isn’t roomy. However the setup time on it is under 1 minute which is super nice

I definitely envy the setup time of this style of tent, that's for sure!

Trip Photos. CV Axle was spewing since it wasn't hammered in fully and the retainer clip didn't click in. Was driving up Los Padres and we were like "hmm...something doesn't smell right." Looked under and fluid was everywhere, so had to remove all plates to clean it up and hammer the CV back in. Thanks to Océane for helping me!

First night we couldn't find a spot ANYWHERE, then finally found this hidden gem. Got bit by mosquitoes, those damn things.

Second night we decided to head south and into SLO area. Found this amazing spot which was a free campground! Woke up in the morning in the tent and came out to fog covering the entire area. It looked like "Slender Man" -Océane.

Third night, Santa Barbara was a joke when it comes to camping. After hitting a closed gate, we waited out a storm in the truck for a while then debated driving back to SLO. Instead, we found this turnout and turned it into our campsite. Only 1 car drove by the entire night and they too went and camped in a turnout.

The tent: So, the tent is an eBay knockoff. The width of the mattress is 49", and the quality control is...not there. I find the tent to be too small for two people comfortably. One strap which is used to open the tent (the two straps which attach to the sun visor part of the tent and down to my rim) is already ripping. The interior is...well whoever made it half-assed the weather proofing part as well as trimming the extra mosquito netting. The mattress is very, very firm. Overall, the tent is still great for the price. It takes 2 minutes to setup and the same to breakdown. The cover is easy to use, just like an FSR cover. Overall, I like it.

    Going into the camp area...

Yes it was in the way of my hammering capability and also was covered in fluid, same with the mid skid. Just took em off for a day till I had the motivation to put them back on
