It's funny, you'd think they RTT prices would go down in such a saturated market, but they've held on to value and prices pretty well. Didn't really hurt the camper market either.

I'm just gonna go sleeping platform and topper when I can afford it. Too much money spent on regear + lockers:burp:

I was thinking the same exact thing. Can’t believe they are selling, used, for almost brand new prices.

Yes, I agree. The RTT plus a mounting solution can put you well into the $2-3k range and that's just too much considering how much other modifications cost. I watch the used market and occasionally you see a small Tepui dip below $1k in decent condition, CVT usually around $1.5k used. I'd love to be off the ground but I don't think it's worth 2k more than what ground tents cost. That's why I'm looking into the getting a shell for my long bed. Hard-shell, dry storage, and doesn't put the weight higher than the cab. But every system has it's drawbacks and everyone's different.

With new 4WCampers going for $30k new, often with wait times, the market prices and demand on popups is crazy high. I'd be surprised if this camper was on Craigslist for much more than a week.

It's been on there for a while if I'm not mistaken - Seen the ad a few times. Now this one...I was 20 minutes too late. Was so pissed. Guy sold it within 2 hours.

I'm not a fan of the value you get with a new 4WC but $5500 is reasonable especially since you can use it for a year and flip it for $500 more than you bought it for. Lol.

For the record, my buddy's been happy with his Sun Lite and he wheels the crap out of his truck.

How is the weight on his Sun Lite?

And I would've flipped that camper for nearly 5k and bought a Vagabond haha, that's why I was bummed!

If I remember right it's within a hundred pounds or so of a comparable 4WC but the Sun Lites have wooden frames, so compromises must have been made somewhere. He's happy with the durability, though, and is out wheeling and using it more than most I know.

Apparently not the same resale/flip potential of the 4WC name though. The buzz around their stuff and the feeding frenzy a used one creates is hard to beat right now. Puzzling (after putting up with an old one) but hard to beat. I sold mine in less than 24 hours for nearly twice my purchase price.

New camera in today! Woo. So excited to start using it.

I'll be MIA for a month in Europe traveling and backpacking some parts. Been a long time since I've seen my girl since she's in France right now too. Luckily, we both are in Paris at the same time for 1 night, then she flies back to the US and I stay in Europe. Not complaining though, I got a romantic date in Paris!

Pictures to come whenever the WiFi signal is good enough.:headbang:

Sick, which model did you get? I decided I'm going to squeeze some more life out of my Rebel T1i before I upgrade. Let technology improve and whatnot. New low light and autofocus performance are already worlds ahead of what they were tho.

Oh very nice. I was looking at that one. I'm so pissed, Amazon prime day they oops'd and accidentally listed it for a hundred bucks and honored those who ordered it at that price. I coulda bought one for both of us.
