Just read this....so sad. Such a unique voice and talent. Not many can claim to have been a part of 3 hugely successful bands - Temple, Garden and Audioslave

Don't have a favorite song from him because I like majority of most the albums. The song REVELATIONS is way up there though

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
I wrote this this morning on Facebook.

I'm not normally one to get sad about a celebrity dying... But I've got to admit that hearing Chris Cornell committed suicide last night really hit me. Growing up and listening to his music, his bands are intertwined with my life. From Soundgarden to Audioslave along with Temple of the Dog, I grew up to that. I can remember hearing spoonman, black hole sun, and a lot of their earlier stuff as early as I had access to a radio.

I remember in my teens being picked on a lot. One song that really stood out to me, and helped me realize that I wasn't by myself was "Fell on Black Days," and it's companion song "The Day I Tried to Live." These may seem like dark songs to some, but they were really great songs for someone that was in my position. I understood I needed to stand up, and do something about it. I think these songs made me realize I needed to get out and experience life. Change my perception, change my outlook on things.

Chris Cornell, you and your voice will be missed. I'm just glad we have your music around for eternity.
