RIP. One of the most iconic musicians of my lifetime. I'm glad I got to see him live!

I'll be rocking out on the way home from work as a tribute!

As a teenager growing up in a violent very troubled home I still remember sitting in the dark in my room and listening to Black Sabbath when their Master of Reality was released. There was a song called Solitude that I absolutely loved. They had also released Paranoid earlier and I still remember the lyrics "happiness I can not feel and love to me is so unreal". That hit me hard but i found strength in that. I felt like I wasn't alone. Instead of depression their was a sense of peace. a calmness surreal as the stereo was cranked up louder. If nothing else it really pissed my parents off.
Loved Ozzy on his own as well. RIP

BS was my first concert. Was in 8th grade going to a Lutheran school with a graduating class of 11. Somehow a friend and I talked our parents into letting us go see BS and Target at the Evansville Colosseum (on a school night no less) in Evansville Indiana. I went from never having seen drug use to stepping over people passed out in their own vomit in the isles all in one night. RIP Ozzy.

Was watching Piers and Gene tonight.

They showed a clip of Ozzy from Decline of the West Civ II - Its crazy it seems like just yesterday we were watching that movie in our living room, me and my high school friends. So many great clips in that movie. I remember being shocked to see him cooking, having all that money.

My fav part is Paul Stanley saying, having money helps you forget about money.

And Faster Pussycat being in there!
