Do you have a spare? A tire shop can install a new valve stem for you

I have a spare tire yeah .. I guess pop it on and drive to tire shop? Can I take the valve stem out of my spare and put in the real tire? Or is that silly

Definitely silly, you have to break the bead loose to pull the stem. Just use your spare and drive over. Even if the spare is a different size you should be OK if it's on the front

The valve stem is mounted from inside the wheel, therefore the tire must be removed first.

Probably more in labor than the part, I wouldn't imagine they would charge more than a half hour labor

You've got labor to remove, install, remount tire, balance wheel/tire, and a TPMS unit on the valve stem, so I'm gonna guess it's goin be be hundred or so.

    Reserected from the dead.
I'd jack the truck up, remove the tire. Take an Uber with the tire and have it repaired. Tire shop would most likely do the repair as a goodwill gesture. It's as easy fix and they might do the job for free to get your business in the future.

TPMS sensor is going to be the expensive part. IIRC discount tire charged me about $60 per when I got new tires.

These valves are more expensive than a simple $1 basic valve.

It's hard to decipher what components you're actually saying. Is it the internal spring loaded core or the whole valve stem?

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
Just to be clear - are you speaking about the valve stem or the valve core (the little valve that screws into the valve stem)?

Edit: If it's the latter as your picture suggests, just screw it back in and reinflate the tire. Some valve stem caps actually have the little prongs used to screw in the core.

All you need to do is screw the core back in and air the tire up. Of course i am guessing you dont have the right tool.

20-30 to fix unless they need to replace the tpms. Then about 80.
