Moved up to 35"s :) They fit but at full lock rub on the body mount chop, not enough to be annoying.

    The CMC looks tight!

Diggin the 35's. LOL they look like they barely fit in the wheel well.

    Truck looks bad ass though.

Awesome build OP! Did you have to remove the pelfreybilt bumper when you swapped out grilles? Always wondered if the hoops get in the way.

Can you see the bumper hoops from the driver's seat?

How deep are the fog lights recessed in the bumper? Do you think this prevents the light from spreading as far as possible?

    Thanks!

You don't have to completely remove the bumper but you have to loosen all the bolts to switch the grille. You can't see the hoop from the inside. The bumper has a long hole for the fog lights so you can either bring then forward to have the most light or push the fog light if you want

Nice! I saw your truck on TAD's Instagram. Looked like a fun trip!
I have been wanting to work on a ceiling mounting system on my ARE V-series just like that. Any suggestions, list of hardware used or close-ups? Nice job!

    Here is what I did:
I bought these mounts that come with the QuickFist's: https://krazybeavertools.com/products/kb-aluminum-mount-1-5-8-stand-off
I also bought these climbing bolt hangers: https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_...g+bolt+hanger&rh=i:aps,k:climbing+bolt+hanger

I had ordered my V-Series with the rails already preinstalled so I just removed 1 bolt that is used to hold the rails in place and I took that bolt to the hardware store to get 4 longer bolts (get some washers and locking nuts too if you want). Once I had the longer size bolt I was able to replace the old ones and have the bolt also hold the mounts and bolt hangers in place. I did that on both sizes for the axe and shovel and I just bought a net on Amazon and some carabiners to hold them the net to the bolt hangers.

Nice rig and build! I’m also in Denver, would be nice to see this rig in person, my 17 OR has a little over 35k in mods on it at the moment, and I’m about to go down the rabbit hole on lights and communication.

Thanks for the compliments and you should definitely start a build thread. I am actually leaving Colorado and heading back to SoCal this weekend so you probably won't get the chance to see it in person any time soon lol For lights my next ones will be the Lux Lighting Systems rock lights and maybe 4 Rigid chase lights for the rear. I highly recommend getting your HAM radio and also having a CB radio in your truck. With HAM you can use something called APRS to track others who might have it as well and someone from the internet can track you even if you don't get cell signal but you can reach a repeater that has access to the internet. Pretty awesome stuff and good luck on your sweet build!!

    Xcellent build and great vids.

Are you liking the 315’s? I’m debating between the 315/70/17 and 285/75/17’s. I’m concerned about extra wear and tear from a the added weight and extra width.

Excellent! I have had a set of climbing bolt hangers in my Wish List for quite some time for this exact idea. Glad to see it would actually work. Thanks again!
