I believe his paperwork was showing the total cost for 8 people. 4 renting, 4 not, which doesn't include the cost for the non-renters to be transported to the drop-off.

Using my amazing powers of new yorker translation I believe the cost for youz guyz bringing you own craft should be $16 a night for camping + $5 drop in fee + $10 for bus + $30 bus mileage = $77

Scott had an extra $9 a night added in per person per night for those not renting based on this fine print "$9.00 site charge for customers NOT using Landers River Craft." I'm guessing that only applied once for the whole camp site, and only if no one at that site uses the river company. I would say the guys bringing their stuff and getting it transported by the company are using them.

    So for the weekend...
    guys renting $73.00
    guyz bringing own craft $77.00
    I think...

I guess if you guys transport your craft yourself you would save $40, but then you would have to go back and get your truck after. And who knows what the parking situation is like at the drop off. Plus you couldn't get drunk floating down the river then.

Yes I am very much. I think it is just safer to rent theirs and leave mine at home. Which is fine by me since it's 11' long.

Did I need to call them and rent or would I just pay Scott? What's the deal?
