Well since its cool again, its time to get the truck back into shape after the few months long heat slumber.

I started with taking BP to the alignment shop and got the alignment back into proper spec this time with more caster. just over 5 degrees on each side. This has helped a lot with the clearance issues I have been having.

I managed to get the bed rack back on yesterday as well with the help of my lovely GF. We got the rack on and gave it quick rinse to rid it of a lot of dust from all over. I also started the gathering of all the stuff needed for camping. Since we moved, its been a challenge to find all the things.

Today, let me tell you, today has been a busy day. Here is what i did:

1. Dropped IFS skid
2. Investigated and possibly found source of oil leak. I believe its the seal on the front diff since the breathers were seemingly solidly attached. Gonna have @Texoma check it out when I go see him for CMC part deux at the end of the month.
3. Did my first ever oil change on any vehicle I have ever owned. This really makes a guy feel good! I installed a Fumoto valve and a metal filter housing while i was at it.
4. Reinstalled the ifs skid and the recently straightened and refinished transmission skid.

While i was digging around under the truck, i noticed a screw that was almost completely backed out. This held a support from the front cat looking thing on the exhaust to the transmission. I was able to hand tighten it and secured it with a 14mm. Unbelievable that they would just leave it like that. They had dropped the transmission to replace the rear main seal leak i had so it had to be the dealer.

I also noticed that the rear passenger side leaf spring looks a little wavy. The drivers side still looks like a U with the ends higher than the middle, but the passenger side is bit more like a W. Going to have @Texoma check this out when i see him in a bit over 2 weeks.

Heck yeah! And im not done yet either. I need to knock out all that I can today since tomorrow is another busy day with alecs football game and all. Im waiting for Chris S to stop by and help me put the RTT back on the truck. In the mean time, I am going to reinstall the stock grill. Ive been mulling this for some time and am going back to the white grill surround. I think it looks better on my truck with all white matching body pieces.

Im looking at this metal insert from empryoffroad that ill get eventually to replace the plastidipped stock grill
