10/27/18 - Sparks flew, metal was melted, dust was generated. Just another day at the Triple C Chop Shop. Oh, cupcakes and beer!

The Mega CMC is done and looks great! Also, the LCA cam tab gussets are in and have added a lot of beef to the lca mounts.

Thats part of it for sure. I chose gray space frame and black panels. It takes about 3-4 weeks to be ready from what I have seen.

    WOOT!

I gotta find someone local that can bend/weld aluminum

Still not sure if I should attempt to make my own though. Just don't 100% like what anyone is making. GFC is closest but I don't like their tent. I like the Vagabond tent but not the full aluminum build or their bed. What I want is the Ursa Minor popup but they only do Jeeps

I have been working on the truck this morning.

Disconnected rear locker air hose and ran compressor to remove oil from the line. ECGS said this happens and to run the locker to push the oil back down the line. Ran it for a while and let it all clear out the hose. Reconnected and tested all good.

Trying to chase down why the air compressor runs every once in a while when front locker is on. Ecgs says it shouldn’t run. It runs 1 second every 60 but only if the front is on. I didn’t feel anything on the breathers and so am thinking the solenoid’s connection to the compressor manifold could be where the leak is. Gonna deal with this a little later.

While I was under the truck, I went ahead and lubed the zerks in the drive shafts. Also hit the zerks on the UCA’s yesterday. Should be all lubed up for the trip lol

I’ll be powerwashing the leaf springs here shortly followed by multiple coatings of boeshield to reduce the squeaking even if for only a little while.

Sharpened the ax, removed rust from the ax and shovel. Powerwashed the Leaf springs and have applied one coating of boeshield so far.

Almost done with the stuff under the truck and can spend some time later this week cleaning out the interior.

Hey homie. Think the alignment shop will let me schedule for next Monday?

Thinking I'll go to them since they seem to know the tricks with aftermarket parts
