1/3/18 and 1/4/18 - Ive been working on cleaning up the water heater and propane setup. So far, I have drilled some holes in the Powertank propane tank mount and gotten it to sit nicely against the bed using the C rail.

Next, I sourced some aluminum bar stock from Lowes and figured out how to use my small table vice, some spring clamps, and a long piece of wood to bend that flat car into the shape I wanted. The top part bolts into one of the RCI bedrack's existing top bolts and the back side uses the same bolt the rack is mounted to the bed with.

I drilled the holes and got the hot water heater mounted onto the new bracket. I need to source some more hardware (screws and lock nuts) to get it securely fastened to the bracket. I am also planning on adding some rubber to provide some minor shock absorbency to it.

I have already ordered the needed parts make the plumbing for this all neat and tidy. I hope to have this completed early next week so I can move on to the next project :)

Thanks bud! I was pretty excited to try something like this. I plan on getting more into aluminum fabrication and manipulation this year because there are parts I want that just arent made. Big things to come in 2018!!

Hopefully, whenever we move and get settled in I can get back to Taco upgrades. some parts are accumulating slowly though. But the lists of needs/wants are growing much faster :D

Would you come home from TnT and then go? Or go direct? I could probably throw my bike onto the roof rack and take all the riding gear i need.

Let me see if I can work this out. I want to ride that shit so bad! Its been years... in fact since when my buddy Andy moved to Utah. We rode the nut like 5 or 6 times in a row including a couple of night runs.
