RKSport Hood w/scoop??

Wondering if anyone here has installed the RKSport hood and using the Ram Air capability? If you're not actually using the ram air function I'd really rather not see a post from you. I have priced a factory "TRD Sport" hood and would have to make the scoop functional or purchase the RKSport hood which is actually cheaper with a functioning scoop instead. With a wee bit of engineering the scoop could be electronically controlled to open only when the right pedal was mashed since there's no benefit otherwise. I'd like to see how someone, anyone has incorporated an RKSport hood to be functional, thanks...[/QUOTE. I wanna like this forum but this crap gets stupid. This guy just asked a question and then you get guys who wanna belittle or out smart someone like a 16 year old stepdaughter on how that's a dumb idea cuz it doesn't make any power or whatever. Every post is combatted with someone trying to make a dumbass out of your post. A guy posted about lowering his truck..Guys replied with him being a dumbass cuz why would anyone lower a Tacoma. Before knowing he was a disabled vet. Guy post about electric step rails..Guys say only if your 4,3 tall or whatever..Not thinking about maybe their for his kids or wife or perhaps his mom and grandmother whenever they travel with him. Guy makes a post about exhaust and CAI mods and they say he's stupid cuz it's just a V6 truck and there's no HP gain. Guys asked if anyone has a RK sport hood and guys come on here and say that's a stupid upgrade cuz it's a truck not a 60s muscle car. Well so what. It's his money and his truck. To me stupid is Toyota putting hood scoops on a TRD truck that doesn't work cuz it's just for looks then wanna charge you extra for it. I have met some nice guys on this forum but this type of childish trolling gives this forum a bad name. Instead of trying to be a TACOMA nation and help out when someone's asking for help or ideas or just info on a product you always have some guys who just can't help but belittle your post. I'm sorry bro. I know you don't need any backup but I just had to say this. By the way I too wanna see RK hoods on a 3rd gen cuz I'm considering one . I know aftermarket parts sometimes don't fit perfectly like OEM but it looks good.
