For me the power felt great, but overgeared since I don't carry much weight, even with my armor. My truck weighs ~5000 lbs with me in it (on 33s). I was in 6th gear at like 35mph. Definitely felt better IMO when I went to 35s...it felt like stock, but way better with no gear hunting.

Are you still running the wheel spacers? How did you know you needed to add them? I have been thinking I may need to add a set. I'm currently running 295/70/17 KM3 with a 0 offset wheel. It sounds like in reverse while in full lock I may be hitting the UCA. Awesome build!

    Thanks!

I actually didn't need them at the time but was thinking about when I would eventually move up to 35s. Now that I have 35s I barely clear my UCAs with my tires. I have about a 1/4" of space. I'm contemplating putting it on there but if it causes more rubbing issues then I might trade/sell them. Have you cycled your suspension?

if you are rubbing on the cab mount get your alignment done first. In the pic quoted your front cam is all the way out. By turning this in you will raise caster and move the wheel forward. It'll give you a extra room at the back of the wheel well.

I'm pretty sure its the other way. You want your front cam bolt to face all the way inwards and the rear to face all the way outwards. We watched the tire move forward as we adjusted the cam bolts to get more clearance. I do have SPC UCAs that push the tire just a little bit back to gain more castor. I'm about 4' on both sides so I'm going to reduce castor up top to gain more clearance and push the tire further forwards.

One of my favorite builds on TW.

Question for ya. Back when you had 33s did the stage 1 lift give you no issues even when wheeling? Thinking of suspension upgrades later this year because I’m going to be getting steel bumpers and hope to set myself a up for 33s down the road

I had to cut and pound the pinch weld flat when wheeling because it would cut the tread blocks of the tires during a hard hit or full stuff. After a CMC, removing my oem mud flaps (I used rekgenz afterwards) and flattening the pinch weld I had zero rubbing when wheeling at full lock and stuff. I didn't have to touch the fenders though and I was able to keep most of my fender lines in the front. The rear I didn't have to do anything with my ~1" lift from my AAL. Hope that helps!

Spent the weekend at my favorite beach in WA. The regear made it easy to plow through the softer sand with the 35s.

The inferno is going to have a starfire pearl sibling in a few weeks! Pulled the trigger on a new GX460 for the wife.

Picked it up the other day! Tacoma mods are gonna take a back seat for a little while.
