    Had the same problem pressure washed the paint off the rubber parts.

    You mentioned getting most of the crap off the paint, but if you haven't already hit those areas with a clay bar and perhaps a nice polishing after.

    Tried everything from WD-40 to power washing to cocoa butter vaseline. I'll probably try some of that goo off or general purpose adhesive cleaner. If all else fails, I'm going with the black spray paint. Even if it looks bad it's still better than bright yellow splatter.

    As a last resort, I'm just drinking a quart of the general purpose cleaner despite the warning label.:cheers:

    Sorry to hear that.

    I’m not sure about the liners.

    When I was probably 17 I was driving my dads brand new Chevy truck like it was a race car crossing the lines and using the whole road. I got home and the truck was literally covered in yellow paint.

    I immediately turned around and went to a body shop. On the way there I noticed they put up a wet paint sign. Too late at that point.

    The shop used thinner and then buffed and waxed the truck. Couldn’t tell it ever had paint on it. I don’t know what they did about the liners though.

    Even though it was almost 17 years ago, I feel your pain.
