Yeah I ended up getting a 10' 6" pipe from Menards, It was a bit more expensive and the fittings were over twice as much. My first run with it leaked pretty badly. I dont think I used enough PVC cement on the ends so Ill try to add more or some high pressure silicone around the end caps. But I was super happy with the fact I could make it less then 4 ft long and still have 4 gals of water. And it fits into my Yakima Road warrior basket sideways.

Do you know a good spot to get the 2.5” cap/pressure safety valve from?
The shrewder valve and a new hose was came to find but having trouble finding the big cap for some reason.

I've been extremely happy with this aluminum water tank from BAMF on Amazon. Water gets quite hot here in Mississippi.

I ended up with the same one as @codyjphoto. Picked it up on ebay and it's been awesome. Holds pressure for days easily and can pressurize up to 65psi which has been a LOT more than enough for what I'm using it for. BAM also sells a shower head that does a good job of making a little water feel like a lot but it still drips when you click the head to "off" when pressurized so you need to use the main valve to shut it off completely. Not that I think it matters much but it seems more aerodynamic than the Yakima ones.

Its awesome,, been using the same pressured up water for like 5 days. Hosing off hands or face after yard work. Can you send me a link to the shower head?

Side note, the safety pressure release sounds like a child being murdered in a horror film if you put in more than 65 psi.

It would be cheaper to DIY though.
MIP/FIP/NPT are all the same (compatible anyway, so you know what I mean, plumbers) I'm just using it to denote male and female ends. GHP is specific to garden hoses afaik. Also, this is my best guess but check for yourself/don't be mad at me if I made a mistake :p

    1) 15" 3/4 FIP water heater flex hose - $2.65 Homedepot
    2) 3/4" female GHP to 3/4" MIP
    3) 3/4" MIP to 1/2" MIP
    4) Water saver shower head with an on/off button (with the standard 1/2" FIP threading)
