    Its been awhile since I've been up to the great white north, only drove the section of the Dempster to the NWT marker. Some day I'll make it to Tuk.

    Information can be found hear as I'm sure everyone already knows but I just wanted to post something:

    https://yukon.ca/en/health-and-well...l-covid-19/border-enforcement-during-covid-19

    As us October 19th 2020:

    If you're travelling through Yukon

    You're able to transit through Yukon so long as you do so in 24 hours. If you're in transit through Yukon, you'll need to provide confirmation that you do not have any symptoms consistent with COVID-19.

    You must also:

    • follow the instructions listed on signage, or given to you by a border officer when you enter Yukon;
    • not stay at territorial campgrounds.
    • avoid stopping in rural communities;
    • avoid stopping for non-essential reasons;
    • practise physical distancing when buying essentials by staying 2 metres (6 feet) away from other people;
    • self-isolate by staying in your room if you must stay in a hotel;
    • pay at the pump if you must stop for gas; and
    • phone 811 if you develop any COVID-19-like symptoms (cough, fever, or difficulty breathing) after making a declaration at the check station.

    With all the things going on this and next year, this trip is getting personally delayed till better times... :mad:

    I am planning 2.5 week long trip around Ontario. All the way up to Kenora and back via east corridor taking backroads as much as possible, so there is something to look forward locally. :dancingbacon:

    If anyone still planning, go ahead and use this thread to share experience and information! :cheers:

    Two trips I had planned this year, Hopefully things change soon. I have family in Whitehorse and have only flown to there. The drive from Fort McMurray to Whitehorse would be a adventure on its own!

    Savour the drive from just south of Wawa out to the TerryFox monument

    The views are spectacular, the 1/2 way point of the TransCanada is in there, some awe-inspiring waterfalls.

    Just outside Kenora as well is very very beautiful (Lake of the woods)

    Now 3 weeks to Tuk is pushing it, but you will see the sights as you drive and decide for yourself then - For us we are budgeting 6 weeks that gives us a lot of luxury on the time, but we plan 3 days from Wawa to the Peg.

    This video seemed to be the most "realistic" that I have seen. And this is from someone that has never been there so its just a guess on my part.

    you hear the wind, you see the dreary weather and get a sense of the miserable wet and cold conditions.

    When are you going? It was grey and cloudy part of the time I was there, then it turned into a beatiful sunny day. That was in July though.
