    any word about the trip due to pandemic restrictions? Figured to mention something since we're in 2021 and no one has really mentioned anything on this thread.

    I need to tell my boss i'm taking a month off for the trip, the earlier the better, and figured to see if we're still planning on going or not.

    If this is not workable due to provincial travel restrictions I have a destination that I believe to be the northernmost drive-able location in Ontario. Frim the Ottawa area it is about 2200km one way...!

    At the moment travel to NWT is not allowed. Do you mean you are still going even if you cant reach NWT?
    They may or may not reopen by August

    Great trip, do it if you can
    This was my first trip to the Arctic Ocean and my third trip along the Alaskan highway, first one in 1983 in a Mercury Station wagon.

    It was a great truck, sold it for a new Tacoma, needed a pickup.
